Our Common Bond

In order to become a member of Carlow Credit Union, you must live or work within our common bond. Our common bond area not only includes Carlow town and it’s outskirts but also extends over to Timahoe in Co. Laois, down to Bunclody, Co. Wexford and takes in Castledermot, Tullow, Baltinglass, Hacketstown, Kiltegan, Rathdangan, Ballitore and Grangecon.

New accounts can be opened by appointment only or you can sign up using the Carlow Credit Union app from the comfort of your own home.

For minor accounts (children aged 7 – 16), the child must be present to open the account. Parents / guardians can open the account for children under the age of 7.

Right away! Once you are a member, you can apply for a loan in person or online with no delays.
