Why not save time and money and order your foreign currency from Carlow Credit Union. Now you can purchase all major foreign currencies from your credit union in advance of Holidays, Business Trips, etc.

A stock of major currencies is held and other currencies can be ordered in for the next day on request. We can also exchange your foreign notes for euro.

Do I need to be a member to buy foreign currency?

Foreign exchange over the counter at Carlow Credit Union is exclusively for our members. However, non-members can still order online for Home Delivery.

What do I need to bring when collecting my cash?

Please bring your order confirmation email along with a valid photo ID (like a passport or driving license) and a recent proof of address.

Are there any hidden fees or commissions?

No! We offer competitive exchange rates with 0% commission on your foreign currency orders.

Can I sell back my leftover foreign currency notes?

Yes, you can bring your unused foreign cash notes back to our branch, and we will gladly buy them back at our current daily exchange rate.

Can I pay for my foreign currency directly from my Credit Union account?

Yes! If you are purchasing or collecting your currency over the counter, we can securely debit the total amount straight from your member share or current account.
