All roads lead to the RDS for the Credit Union School Quiz National Final!

Congratulations to both Bishop Foley Carlow and St Fiaccs NS who have secured their place in the 2024 school quiz national finals over the weekend!

Both schools representing Carlow Credit Union competed against teams from all over Kilkenny on Friday night.

St Fiacc's finished 1st place on the night in the under 11s category with a very strong overall score. The team was made up of Eleana mesiti, Fei Xie, Elohor Erhabor and Cian O’Shea

In the under 13s category, Bishop Foley Carlow were narrowly beaten by only one point to Kilkenny School Project. Representing the school was Lorcan O Brien, Cillian O Brien, Andrew Constantin and Ben Doyle.

Speaking about the quiz, Lee Mulhall, Marketing Manager at Carlow Credit Union said "it was a phenomenal achievement for both schools. The questions were challenging and there was some really good scores recorded on the night. I am sure the excitement will be building even more now with the national finals on the horizon"

Both teams now advance to the National Finals in the RDS on Sunday 7th April 2024 where they will compete against schools all around Ireland for a top prize of €4,000!
