Carlow Credit Union is proud to announce Talking Heads Carlow Aphasia Social Group as our Charity of the Year for 2026.

Talking Heads was founded by Paul and Trish after Paul experienced aphasia following a stroke. Recognising the need for more local support, they created the group to provide a welcoming space where people living with aphasia can meet others, build confidence, share experiences, and support one another.

Throughout 2026, Carlow Credit Union will be raising funds through a variety of events and initiatives to support the incredible work of Talking Heads. Every euro raised will help the group continue providing invaluable support to people and families affected by aphasia in our community.
